Balloon Boy Incident A Hoax? Inconceivable Says The Sheriff

So much for the criminal investigation!
The Fort Collins, Colorado sheriff’s department commented this afternoon that any rumors floating around about the Balloon Boy incident being a publicity stunt have been deemed completely false. As far as they are concerned, this was considered a “real event” and was in no way a hoax.
The police re-interviewed Falcon Heene’s parents and from what they have gathered from the family, the sheriff says it is “inconceivable” that the family lied in order to gain media attention. Sheriff Jim Alderden deemed the couple “honest” from their reactions, emotions and body language. He also suggested that Falcon is a “hyperactive boy” who was likely “frightened because he was responsible for un-tethering the balloon.”
That still doesn’t explain why he felt like he was doing it “for the show”! Or how a “hyperactive” kid was able to stay still for four hours!
Something smells fishy in the state of Colorado!
