According to a new report from TMZ, in the latest decision from the court, Halle Berry has not been awarded the requested 50/50 physical custody of her 13-year-old son, Maceo.
Olivier Martinez‘s lawyer Patrick Baghdaserians tells the outlet the judge sided with him in that regard, awarding Olivier primary physical custody for the time being. The outlet also reports Halle is not allowed to have overnight visits with her son, but the judge did reject Olivier’s request to restrict Halle’s holiday visits.
This comes after Olivier claimed in court docs that Maceo told him Halle had physically abused him during an argument over a video game. Olivier’s attorney considers the judge’s decisions a “huge victory” for his client, but Halle’s lawyer Marina Beck is counting her wins too.
See, the temporary restraining order against Halle has been dissolved, and her attorney claims she still has joint legal custody and still gets to act as tiebreaker on big parenting decisions. Beck tells Page Six:
“We are extremely pleased that the Court has dissolved the TRO. As we move forward, Halle is determined to continue to focus on the well-being and best interests of her family. This is a huge win for Halle.”
Maceo testified in a closed door deposition.
The judge will revisit the custody arrangement in November.
