Americans are frustrated that Barack Obama has yet to make major improvements to our weak economy, but the country isn’t convinced that Mitt Romney will be able to do any better.
A new poll has determined that the two presidential candidates are TIED with voters on the issue. Each has 47% of the country believing they can fix the economy, but Obama is leading the overall vote with 49% compared to Romney’s 46%.
Very close race!
Although more people polled think the economy has gotten worse since Obama took office, 48% of people think Obama better understands their economic problems, compared to the 40% who think Romney does.
When asked which candidate is more likely to stand up for what they believe in, Obama crushed Romney with 51% to 38%.
He wasn’t afraid to admit his position on same-sex marriage had “evolved,” so it’s understandable why Romney can’t beat his opponent in that category.
Who do U think is the best bet for our economy?
