Joe had a ham and gruyere while Barack enjoyed a turkey with brie, while both snacked on cake, chocolate chip cookie, and brownie.
The employees of ​Dog Tag, so named because it employs service members looking to get back into the 9 to 5 world, were buzzing with excitement over the unexpected visit. CEO Meghan Ogilvie told The Washingtonian:
“It was a total surprise. Honestly everyone freaked out. It was phenomenal. They took the time to shake every hand, take selfies when asked. They recognized each of our service members.”
