Barack Obama Shares Pics From His Alaskan Adventure With Bear Grylls — Along With An Important Message!
Nature is calling on Barack Obama!
On Tuesday, the President taped an episode of the survival show Running Wild With Bear Grylls — and it looks like the two had a BLAST!
Bear took POTUS to Alaska in an episode that focused on climate change, but first — they took plenty of selfies!
Shared on the White House‘s Instagram, we see Obama’s finger framing the two in the wilderness, with an impressively punny caption:
Glad this was the only Bear I met in the park. -boA photo posted by The White House (@whitehouse) on Sep 1, 2015 at 10:39pm PDT
The Prez also stopped by other parts in the region to point out signs of climate change:
Resurrection Bay is one of those places that reminds you of all the beauty this country has to offer. It’s home to whales (I got to see one!), sea lions, and dozens of other species. Surrounded by jagged cliffs and alpine glaciers, this is a place that’s worth protecting. -boA photo posted by The White House (@whitehouse) on Sep 1, 2015 at 11:30pm PDT
And had a special environmental message about the beautiful landscape:
We need to make sure our grandkids can see this. -boA photo posted by The White House (@whitehouse) on Sep 1, 2015 at 5:51pm PDT
See Obama take on the wilderness when the episode airs on NBC later this year!
