I was the person sitting in 14B on this plane who closed the door to the bat! Something to talk about for a long time. This happen on our way out from Madison, WI 08/05/2011 on flight 5121 @6:50am.├»┬╗┬┐ Needless to say we all had to board different planes hours later. Delta ticketing agent at the gate was very incompetent and lazy. She kept sending us to another gate because she didn’t want to assist in the re-booking. She kept telling us that she wasn’t able to do so from her terminal.
Lame! It was just a bat locked in a bathroom! Did they HAVE to ground the flight?
We guess it’s a health hazard? Maybe?
Oh well! Ha!
