Not cool, BBC!
The highly-popular UK series Torchwood featured a sex scene involving bisexual alien-hunter, played by gay actor John Barrowman, and a male bartender that was ultimately cut by the British channel.
Ironically, the scene remained intact on the U.S. airing of the show.
A show source said, “You can get away with scenes like that on American cable channels, but you can’t on prime-time BBC1.”
Um, really? Isn’t the UK supposed to be much more liberal when it comes to nudity on television in comparison to the U.S.? Hmm, seems a little shady and possibly homophobic. Let’s hope not!
Well, in the meantime, look at the pretty pictures of John and his co-star below!
