Beastie Boys Member Beats Cancer

After 18 months of being diagnosed with cancer, Beastie Boys star Adam Yauch finally kicked his tumor to the curb!

Another member of the group, Mike D, told BBC Radio One that he was “really happy” about Yauch’s recovery and is excited to be putting out the second part of their album Hot Sauce Committee as scheduled.

Mike D also talked about the music video they’re releasing:

“We’ve got a video we got to finish, a big video. I know people don’t make big videos any more but we made a big video. It’s not even a video, it’s a film-eo. A cinematic, short film.”

Thank Goodness Yauch beat cancer! We don’t know what we’d do without Beastie Boy Jams!
