Beckham's Italian Drama MUST Be Sorted By Friday, Says MLS Head

We’ll know David Beckham’s soccer playing future by Friday!

Will it be in Milan or LA for the season?

According to ESPN, Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber revealed on Wednesday that he has notified the LA Galaxy that if a transfer agreement for Becks is not completed by Friday then MLS will not approve a transfer.

It’s a deadline!

The comish said, “There is no reason why this should drag on. They [AC Milan] either want to do it or don’t want to do it. This Friday we need to know if they want to buy David Beckham or not.”

Apparently, the Italians have not put in a bid for Becks.

We thought Milan couldn’t bid on him because of his contract with the Galaxy?!

Confusing!

The MLS head also confirmed the reports floating around that Becks has a clause in his contract that will allow him to leave the league after the 2009 season.

From what we’ve heard, sounds like Becks wants out before that – and badly!
