Well, well, well! Prince Harry is back in the UK, as we already now, but what’s brand-new and inneresting is that he’s already popping up in public! And he’s holding an unexpected little family reunion with it, to boot!
The Duke of Sussex made a surprise appearance at a Gallagher PREM Rugby match on Friday night, proving he’s still got a connection to one of his favorite sports now that he’s back on home soil!

According to reports from multiple media outlets on Saturday morning, the 42-year-old royal was spotted in the stands at Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium, watching Leicester take on Gloucester.
Dressed casually in a black puffer coat, Harry spent the match chatting with the person seated beside him — who, per People, was his cousin George Mccorquodale, who is the son of Harry’s late mother Princess Diana’s sister Sarah McCorquodale. Cool!
In the end, Leicester took home the win, beating Gloucester 38-31!
Of course, rugby has a special place in Harry’s heart. He previously served as the patron of English rugby before losing the position after stepping back from his senior royal duties in 2020. That same year, he and Meghan Markle left the UK for California. But now, the Sussexes appear to be embracing a new chapter back across the pond!
As we’ve been reporting, the couple returned to Britain in August, with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, attending a local British school for the fall semester — although that already hasn’t been going so well.
However, King Charles III has still made it clear that Harry and Meghan won’t be returning to official royal duties. In a September letter to their team, the monarch reaffirmed that their charitable work remains a private matter and that the couple are no longer working members of the Royal Family.
Still, Harry showing up at a rugby match is certainly a noteworthy sight!

Is this the beginning of more public appearances in Britain, or was he simply enjoying a little rugby nostalgia? Either way, the Sussexes’ next chapter is already giving us plenty to talk about!
