Bella Hadid and The Weeknd can’t quit each other!
According to E! News sources, the Can’t Feel My Face singer reportedly sent his ex a sweet message in honor of her 23rd birthday.

But did the two meet up?? It depends who you ask!
Per the first insider, the musician reached out to the supermodel — but this does NOT mean the two are getting back together:
“The Weeknd did reach out to Bella during the day to wish her a ‘Happy Birthday’ and they have been in touch… There is no bad blood between the two and they are on good terms right now. There isn’t any chance of them getting back together right now but Bella never wants to have any anger or resentment towards anyone.”
However, a second insider said the runway star left her birthday celebration at Miss Lily’s in NYC “by herself” and “got into the The Weeknd’s car.”
Despite these conflicting reports, it appears Hadid had a great time celebrating her bday.
Before the night festivities, Bella, her close friends, and family — including sister Gigi, brother Anwar, and mom Yolanda — had lunch at Sadelle’s and then traveled to Color Me Mine to paint some pottery.
Anwar’s girlfriend, Dua Lipa, was also in attendance.
Afterward:
“Bella had a low-key night out celebrating her birthday at Miss Lily’s in NYC… She was with Gigi, Anwar, Dua Lipa, a few people from her glam team and a handful of her model friends. It was a small group and mainly consisted of her closest girlfriends.”
At the Caribbean restaurant, Bella and co. had a “private section” in the back.
“The restaurant’s specialty Caribbean cocktails were brought out immediately and the group was drinking for several hours… Bella was in an amazing mood. She looked so happy. Her and Gigi were attached at the hip the entire night and were taking many photos together while smiling and laughing.”
Though the shindig was not “wild,” it was “still a lot of fun.”
“Bella and Gigi were dancing to the funky music that was playing throughout the restaurant and their friends were videoing them and taking photos.”
As we reported in August of this year, the pair broke up once more. At the time, an E! News source dished:
“They are in different places right now, physically and mentally. Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut.”
