Ben Affleck was clearly NOT paying attention to the rules of the road yesterday as he cruised around Santa Monica, because the actor was spotted by paparazzi as he side-swiped a PARKED car…and took off its side mirror!
However, we’re pleased to announce that Ben did the right thing and took complete accountability for his actions, and made sure he left a little note on the windshield promising to cover the damage and leaving his contact information!

It read:
“Hi, knocked off your mirror. VERY Sorry. Will cover everything. Ben.”
Aw! Well done!
We think there’s a few starlets – who are A LOT more reckless on the road, BTW – who could learn about accepting responsibility for their actions by his example!
Hope they’re taking notes!
