Ben Affleck admitted in a recent interview that even eight years after their split, he maintains a close relationship with J.Lo!
Not a sexual one, obvi! The dude is happily married to action-star Jennifer Garner — she would kick the crap out of him if he ever effed over her or their kids!! But he does keep in touch!
Ben described his current interactions with Jennifer Lopez, explaining:
“We don’t have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice, but we do have the kind of relationship where there’ll be an e-mail saying, ‘Oh, your movie looks great,’. I remember when she got American Idol. I said, ‘This was really smart. Good luck.’ I touch base. I respect her. I like her. She’s put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I’m really pleased to see her successful.”
We’re happy you two grew into such civil adults!
Not eager to continue talking about ancient history, Ben switched gears and emphatically praise his current wife.
The Argo director revealed:
“[My wife Jennifer] truly is kind. She means no one any harm. She doesn’t have ill will for any person. She’s not competitive with other people. She’s not spiteful. It’s one of those things where it becomes almost aggravating at times. Every time I go, f— him!’ I see in her face that she just thinks that’s petty and small.”
Aww! We’re sure Mizz Garner doesn’t think you’re SMALL!
Besides, it’s not the size of your Gigli, it’s how you use it! LOLz!
