Ben Affleck is going through a really rough time.
Last week the Argo star was driven to rehab by ex-wife Jennifer Garner, after reportedly being on a bender, “drinking alone” for days.
So where is his buddy Matt Damon during all of this?

A source tells People the fellow actor “has and will always be there for Ben.” Though the insider also notes they can’t exactly be together 24/7:
“They have been friends for years. Let’s remember that they each have their own families and careers to deal with.”
Fair. They aren’t 27-year-old Oscar wunderkind anymore. Matt has FOUR daughters to take care of.
But even still, a second source says Matt — who is in El Lay filming a movie right now — has been supporting Ben however he can since learning of his troubles last week.
The old friends are still close, and it was just announced this month they would be making their first movie together in years, a true-crime story about the man who rigged the McDonald’s Monopoly game. Affleck is set to direct Damon.
We can only hope Ben gets the help he needs and gets back to work — having his bestie by his side all day can only help.
