What happy news!
On February 8, pro surfer Bethany Hamilton and her husband, Adam Dirks, revealed they’re expecting!
Woot! We can’t wait to see Bethany’s little one riding the waves!

In a cute video announcement, the 25-year-old gushed:
“I’m about 22 weeks, which is about halfway there. It’s been a pretty crazy last four months finding out that we’re gonna be parents. Life’s kinda gonna be changing and we’re kinda just starting to prep for bringing a new little being into the world. It’s all really exciting.”
Aww, we love how Hamilton and her hubby are so amped about this pregnancy!

A baby boy! How wonderful!
We continue to be so inspired by Bethany, who tragically lost her arm during a shark attack at age 13 while surfing.
Since the scary encounter, Hamilton has exceeded expectations in the pro-surfing world which moved her to write the popular book, Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board.
We bet Bethany and Adam will be fantastic parents.
