hollywood continues to mourn mary tyler moore
Hollywood is still mourning the loss of Mary Tyler Moore.
And we don’t blame them! On Thursday, Miz Moore’s longtime friends and former costars, Betty White and Valerie Harper, took to social media to pay tribute to the late TV icon. Awwww.

The Golden Girls alum got nostalgic about her friendship with Moore as she posted a throwback pic on Instagram (below).

We’re not crying, you are.
In case you forgot, the 95-year-old played Sue Ann Nivens on the late TV star’s long running sitcom. Harper also appeared on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, as she was best known for playing Moore’s best friend and neighbor on the hit comedy. Of course, Valerie had some poignant words to share following the NY native’s passing as she wrote on Twitter:

Our hearts are just breaking! The craziest thing about this whole situation? These three appeared on Betty’s show Hot in Cleveland, alongside fellow MTMS alums Cloris Leachman and Georgia Engel, just back in 2013 –and it was also Mary’s last TV appearance.
Obviously, Mary’s close pals aren’t the only ones missing her since Whoopi Goldberg paid tribute to the late trailblazer during Thursday’s episode of The View. The Sister Act star shared:

“We will miss this trailblazing woman, who highlighted issues that women are still dealing with today.”

Hear! Hear! Goldberg later added during a chat with People:

“She was a spectacular person. It leaves such a hole. You want to say to people, ├óΓé¼╦£There are others you can do!’ She was extraordinary and a great woman.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. We are sending only positivity to Mary’s loved ones during this particularly trying time!
