Despite Barbra trying to get Bey to be on her new album of only duets, the Queen just didn’t have the time. Babs revealed:
“Everyone we asked was├óΓé¼┬ªbusy. She had her people try to do a track of one of the songs from my movie, ‘A Star is Born,’ and it just, we didn’t have the time to finish it, to get it right. We had to release the album. Maybe someday we’ll do a duet because she’s so great.”
Please one day make it happen!
After all, we totally already know Bey slays when singing some Barbra songs! Don’t you remember her performance of The Way We Were at the Kennedy Center Honors show in 2008 for Babs?
