Beyonc├â┬⌐ may be one of the world’s biggest pop stars, but now that she’s a mother, she knows how important it is to get an education.
As such, Blue Ivy‘s momma took part in El Lay’s Center for Early Education‘s 75th Anniversary Gala on Saturday and actually performed a number of songs for the children and partygoers!

But not only did she do her own original music… she covered the one and only Whitney Houston, too!
Bey has done I Will Always Love You before, so while this wasn’t a once-in-a-lifetime moment, we sure are jealous we weren’t there to experience it.
We think Whitney would be proud.
