There aren’t a whole lotta laughs happening on FOX News. So it├óΓé¼Γäós no surprise they can├óΓé¼Γäót take a joke and didn├óΓé¼Γäót find President Barack Obama├óΓé¼Γäós interview with Zach Galifianakis on Between Two Ferns at all funny!
K, well, whatever guys. It was hilarious!
Papa Bear Bill O’Reilly was growling on his show last night about how inappropriate it was for the Prez to use a comedy routine to promote HealthCare.gov.
Bill sounded off, saying:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm all for PR and if [presidential spokesman Jay] Carney wanted to go on Funny or Die, fine. But the President of the United States? All I can tell is you Abe Lincoln would not have done it. There comes a point when serious times call for serious action.├óΓé¼┬¥
Three years ago, Bill wrote Killing Lincoln, his book about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
But, um, that doesn’t mean you can speak for Abe about whether or not he would do an interview!
And as far as PR is concerned, the President’s appearance on Between Two Ferns worked!
Early reports are that the Affordable Health Care site saw 40% more visits after Obama’s video aired!
We’d say that’s clearly a success!
