Billie Eilish is covered up (just the way she likes it) on the cover of Elle!
Consumed by an oversized, completely zipped-up jacket, the Bad Guy songstress shows nothing but her face and hands on her own cover (below) for the magazine’s “Women in Music” issue, in which she opens up about why she tends to dress in baggy clothing.
As fans know, the El Lay native’s oversized wardrobe choices have become a signature look of hers. While many have applauded the 17-year-old for going out of her way to not sexualize her body like other pop stars have, Eilish admits it bothers her when people take the praise too far.

She told the glossy:
“The point is not: Hey, let’s go slut-shame all these girls for not dressing like Billie Eilish. It makes me mad.”
As for why she still opts for baggy wear? Previously, Billie revealed she had “body dysmorphia” when she joined a competitive dance team as a tween, which many speculated was a big reason behind her signature style.
But that’s not exactly the case. According to the pop prodigy, she dresses in baggy clothes because, well… y’all are a bunch of pervs!
The teen sensation spilled:
“I have to wear a big shirt for you not to feel uncomfortable about my boobs!”
Case in point: when the singer was seen greeting fans in a tight shirt earlier this year and made Twitter explode. As we reported, the star’s fans unleashed fury on the users who were sexualizing the minor by calling her “thick.”
Billie, as it turns out, was just as grossed out by the internet ogling. She recalled to the mag:
“My boobs were trending on Twitter! At number one! What is that?! Every outlet wrote about my boobs!”
She went on to joke:
“I look good in it. I was born with f**king boobs, bro. I was born with DNA that was gonna give me big-ass boobs.”
That’s usually how it works!
Of course, Billie won’t go out of her way to make the world feel uncomfy about her boobs forever. After all, gurl turns 18 in a few months — and she’s planning on changing up her baggy wardrobe!
She said:
“I’m gonna be a woman. I wanna show my body.”
However, she knows doing so will come with a price:
“But I know it would be a huge thing. I know people will say, ‘I’ve lost all respect for her.’”
We’re sure the real fans will stick by Billie’s side no matter how much skin she shows!
Until then, enjoy *modest* Billie on Elle’s new cover (below)!
