The infamous Access Hollywood tape somehow failed to torpedo Donald Trump‘s presidential campaign, despite him admitting to being a sexual predator on a hot mic.
However, it did take down someone — Billy Bush.

The interviewer was heard laughing along with Trump’s disgusting comments and ended up fired by NBC (and just months later divorced).
Yep. The Today show officially has higher moral standards than the U.S. presidency.
Well, now that Extra is moving from NBC to Fox, TheBlast reports the new studio is in talks to give the disgraced TV personality another chance and add him to the show for some hosting segments.
According to inside sources the deal is close to getting sealed, so we have to ask — are viewers ready to Billy to make a comeback?
Unlike Trump, he did apologize for his part on the tape. He even got counseling.
We can’t help but wonder if the ire directed at Billy is in some part the anger we feel toward ALL the people in and out of the industry who enabled Trump through the years despite his grotesque behavior, leading to the man we have in the Oval Office now. Also, even if that’s true, do we care??
