And in the most random news of the whole day…
Billy Corgan, lead singer of the Smashing Pumpkins, doesn’t normally live his life in the spotlight.
But that didn’t stop him from filming a commercial for Chicago furniture giant, Walter E. Smithe.
What’s extra random about this is that Billy owns a wrestling company Resistance Pro and got to use his wrestlers in the commercial!
He did the ad in exchange for a $50,000 donation to Chicago’s largest no-kill shelter, PAWS.
He said:
“I can honestly say that if it had been anybody else in the country outside of Chicago├óΓé¼┬ª I probably wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót have done it.”
He’s from Chicago and must really love his town!
