Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen are basically all of us if we ever got the chance to meet Meghan Markle and Prince Harry!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed up to the European premiere of Disney‘s “live action” The Lion King remake in London’s Leicester Square on Sunday.
And when the Timon and Pumbaa portrayers got put face-to-face with the Royal couple, they fan-girled hard — especially poor, sweet Billy Eichner!

The Billy On The Street host is adorably seen freaking out to his costar in a Twitter video (below) as the two nervously wait in line to be greeted:

The 40-year-old got a laugh out of the moment being caught on camera, writing in response (below):
“OMG Here I am completely freaking out to @Sethrogen about how I’m going to greet Prince Harry and Meghan I’M CRYING ???”
Stars, they’re just like us! (We are also crying LOLz!)
Billy also tweeted out that the interaction went great, noting that he bonded with the former Suits star over being Northwestern University alumni:
“BTW they were both super down to earth and lovely and Meghan and I talked about our @NorthwesternU acting teachers (shout out to Mary Poole and David Downs!) ❤️”
While chatting with the hosts of UK’s This Morning on Tuesday, the comedians further explained their brush with royalty.
Rogen joked about being unclear on the exact protocol for meeting the couple:
“Yes, exactly, respect their personal space. They’re the only people I’ve met who come with protocol so that was interesting. And then I think what we were trying to gauge is how many people were following the protocol and how strict the protocol is.”
Eichner chimed in, noting he had no clue the hilarious moment (above) was being filmed:
“I didn’t know we were being recorded at the time so this was a very real moment of Seth and I waiting to meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. And like Seth said, they tell you you’re supposed to say your Royal Highness, you can’t speak until your hands are locked together in a handshake and all these crazy things, and I didn’t know how much you were supposed to follow that so I started panicking. We were watching what our friend Keegan [Keegan-Michael Key] did and he did none of the protocol either and just kind of nodded his head, then it all fell apart.”
LOLz!!
We can’t all be as calm and collected as Beyoncé and JAY-Z were when they met Archie‘s parents…
