It’s official. Blake Lively really didn’t make anything in her settlement with Justin Baldoni!
In court papers filed by Wayfarer earlier this month and obtained by People on Monday, the It Ends With Us director’s team stated that Blake “dismissed her three remaining claims without the Wayfarer Defendants paying a cent” — despite wanting $300 million in damages! Insane!

A source close to the Gossip Girl star reiterated to the outlet that “this was never about money — it was about exposing bad actors who are also harming others,” adding:
“She didn’t settle her claims until the documents exposing the bad actors behind smear campaigns were made public — documents that have led to other lawsuits and investigations. With this motion, she is breathing life into a groundbreaking statute designed to protect survivors from retaliatory lawsuits.”
Well, her team might insist it wasn’t about the money, but the actress is still trying to recover legal fees and damages thanks to a California statute that gives her the right after Justin’s failed countersuit. That being said, his lawyers have argued the rule shouldn’t hold up in this case since many of the alleged incidents connected to the film happened in New Jersey, not California. As of now, the judge has made it clear he doesn’t need to hear additional information as he makes a decision, but no ruling has been made yet.
