Blake Lively leveled some pretty gross accusations at her leading man/director on It Ends With Us.
In her official complaint letter late last month, she accused Justin Baldoni of fostering a hostile work environment on the set through various kinds of unprofessional behavior. Among these was garden variety sexual harassment — describing sex acts, talking about women’s bodies, that kind of thing. But one of the biggest lines she said he crossed was the one into her personal space!
She accused Baldoni and his producing partner Jamey Heath of going into her trailer when she was partially nude! She said Heath “arrived unannounced” at her makeup trailer while she was “topless and having body makeup removed by makeup artists.” When he refused to come back later, she requested he at least turn the other way as she was topless. He allegedly could not even meet that request; she says she caught him “staring directly at her while she was topless.”

She says Baldoni also “repeatedly entered” her trailer while she was undressed. In her list of 30 demands, she calls out this behavior specifically, writing:
20. No more entering, attempting to enter, interrupting, pressuring or asking Blake Lively to enter her trailer or the makeup trailer by James Heath or Justin Baldoni while she is nude, for any reason.
She specifically referred to times they came in when she was topless while “breastfeeding.” SUPER GROSS for these guys to do that! But… is that what happened with Justin Baldoni??
The director dropped his own legal filing this week, a $250 million libel lawsuit against The New York Times, accusing them of knowingly posting Blake’s version without investigating. He says if they had checked any of it, they’d find she was grossly mischaracterizing incidents from the set. And the breastfeeding peeping one is no exception!
Baldoni doesn’t deny he came to her trailer at one of these times — but can prove it was anything but “unannounced”! He says she invited him!
“Adding to the sexual harassment narrative is the Article’s parroted accusation that ‘both men repeatedly entered her makeup trailer uninvited while she was undressed, including when she was breastfeeding.’ What Lively (and the Article) fail to mention is that Lively invited Baldoni into her trailer (while pumping) to ‘work out their lines[.]'”
WHAT?!?
Yes, he included a screenshot of text messages in which she tells him on June 3, 2023:
“I’m just pumping in my trailer if you wanna work out our lines”
To which he responds:
“copy Eating with crew and will head that way”
Whoa. This looks like proof she was totally fine with him coming in while she was pumping!
Look, is her consent this time proof he never came in without her consent? When she didn’t want him to? No. But it’s a huge hole in her story — or rather, it’s a huge hole in the Times‘ story. We mean, how could they justify not including that if they could easily have gotten it from Baldoni? It certainly helps his claim of mischaracterizing innocent behavior to ruin his reputation. You know, like the smear campaign he’s been accused of launching against her?
