Blake Lively Reacts To Unedited It Ends With Us Footage -- Claims It Actually Proves Her Harassment Claims Are True!

Blake Lively is actually glad Justin Baldoni released that It Ends With Us footage! Really??

If you missed it, amid his legal battle against Blake, Justin released a nearly 10-minute video from set trying to prove his innocence against Blake’s claims that he made unwanted advances on her while filming an intimate dancing scene. In the clip, they could be seen butting heads over the direction of the scene — but in a professional manner — and swaying to romantic music. At times, Justin went in for a few almost kisses, kissed her forehead, and grazed her neck.

The strange thing, though, was that while they were acting out the scene, they were NOT talking in character. Audio wasn’t going to be used in the movie, so that led to some uncomfortable commentary about their personal relationships and even Justin’s nose! See (below):

While the Jane the Virgin alum may have thought he was hitting the nail in the coffin with this footage, his opponent is actually happy the video is out there now! In fact, she thinks it’ll help her case even more!

Her legal team told TMZ on Tuesday afternoon:

“Justin Baldoni and his lawyer may hope that this latest stunt will get ahead of the damaging evidence against him, but the video itself is damning. Every frame of the released footage corroborates, to the letter, what Ms. Lively described in Paragraph 48 of her Complaint.”

When discussing this scene in her lawsuit, the actress alleges in part:

“At one point, [Baldoni] leaned forward and slowly dragged his lips from her ear and down her neck as he said, ‘it smells so good.’ None of this was remotely in character, or based on any dialogue in the script, and nothing needed to be said because, again, there was no sound — Mr. Baldoni was caressing Ms. Lively with his mouth in a way that had nothing to do with their roles. When Ms. Lively later objected to this behavior, Ms. Baldoni’s response was, ‘I’m not even attracted to you.’”

Well, most of this did happen, so it’s not like she’s making it up. Doubling down on this, her team continued:

“The video shows Mr. Baldoni repeatedly leaning in toward Ms. Lively, attempting to kiss her, kissing her forehead, rubbing his face and mouth against her neck, flicking her lip with his thumb, caressing her, telling her how good she smells, and talking with her out of character.”

Can’t argue that. The legal team also said that none of the movements were discussed or choreographed with an intimacy coordinator beforehand, noting:

“Every moment of this was improvised by Mr. Baldoni with no discussion or consent in advance, and no intimacy coordinator present. Mr. Baldoni was not only Ms. Lively’s co-star, but the director, the head of studio and Ms. Lively’s boss.”

Hmm. Obviously, they knew they were going to be dancing and that the scene was meant to be a bit steamy, but it is clear the actors had two very different visions for the scene. In the footage, Blake keeps campaigning for them to just talk while Justin would prefer to go right in for a kiss. So, they weren’t on the same page.

That said, Justin has argued in the past that Blake “refused to meet with the intimacy coordinator to plan out the Film’s sex scenes.” Justin claimed he would speak with the coordinator alone and then “relay any suggestions to Lively” as they “would later sketch out the [sex] scenes together.” Now, this wasn’t a sex scene, but if Blake really did refuse to meet with the coordinator, maybe that’s why they weren’t on the same page?

As for Blake’s smiley and light-hearted demeanor in the footage, her legal team insisted this was just a classic defense mechanism:

“The video shows Ms. Lively leaning away and repeatedly asking for the characters to just talk. Any woman who has been inappropriately touched in the workplace will recognize Ms. Lively’s discomfort. They will recognize her attempts at levity to try to deflect the unwanted touching. No woman should have to take defensive measures to avoid being touched by their employer without their consent.”

The A Simple Favor star’s attorneys concluded by slamming the Five Feet Apart director for the shady way he is releasing this content, telling the outlet:

“Releasing this video to the media, rather than presenting it as evidence in court, is another example of an unethical attempt to manipulate the public. It is also a continuation of their harassment and retaliatory campaign. While they are focused on misleading media narratives, we are focused on the legal process. We are continuing our efforts to require Mr. Baldoni and his associates to answer in court, under oath, rather than through manufactured media stunts.”

The filmmaker plans to release a whole “website” full of his communications with Blake and other film footage, so this is just the beginning…
