Today we’ve learned that Ryan Reynolds isn’t afraid to talk up his new bestie Jake Gyllenhaal — even at the expense of his wife, Blake Lively! Ha!
The 40-year-old appeared on Good Morning America on Thursday, where he praised his Life-costar-turned-partner-in-crime as “the most interesting actor working in Hollywood today”:
“He’s definitely one of my favorites, and at the same time he’s one of the kindest guys I’ve ever met.”
Well isn’t that sweet!

The Deadpool actor went on to reveal that the two actors hang out quite a bit these days, and that Jake might even be a better chef than Miz Lively:
“Blake, my wife, is very good at cooking, and Jake might be just a little bit better. He can throw down. It gets very competitive between the two.”
Realizing what he’d done, Reynolds went on to joke:
“I’m moving out at the end of the month. I’m actually moving out right now, under this desk. I’m already making plans.”
