We’ve seen a lot of Justin Baldoni‘s text messages and emails.
From the moment Blake Lively first made her sexual harassment accusations public, both her filing and the New York Times article accompanying it included tons of messages between the It Ends With Us director and his PR people. Blake was trying to prove he had engineered a smear campaign against her, that the hate online was because of him. And she used his own messages she’d somehow gotten hold of as evidence. Well, pieces of messages anyway, as he proved shortly after.
You know whose messages she didn’t release? Her own.

But according to legal sources speaking to DailyMail.com on Friday, that’s about to change. As the legal battle moves forward, she and Ryan Reynolds will soon have to give testimony in depositions for Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit. And they’ll have to produce any texts and emails having anything to do with Justin and the production of It Ends With Us. The insider said:
“Unequivocally yes, all parties should be aware that they will be subpoenaed and deposed imminently.”
Subpoenas for texts and emails. Damn, this is getting real! This means if Ryan and Blake are the Hollywood mean girl couple they’re being painted as, we’ll soon have evidence of it.
These messages aren’t anything Justin or his team have seen, so presumably no one other than Ryan and Blake know how bad or good this will be for their case. But would you want YOUR private texts with your husband to go public? We can’t imagine it’s all going to be nice stuff, even if they’re telling the truth!
It’s not just the husband-to-wife texts either. It’s also whatever plans Blake made with her own PR agent Leslie Sloane, who is also named in the suit. So if she was the one who was smearing him, that’ll come out, too.
How bad do U think this will be, Perezcious paralegals??
