Blake Lively Subpoenas Justin Baldoni's Phone Records -- Hoping To Find More 'Receipts' & 'Expose' Alleged Smear Campaign He Launched Against Her!

Uh oh! Does Blake Lively not have enough evidence to back the claims she made against Justin Baldoni in her lawsuit? She is now seeking more proof of the alleged retaliatory smear campaign he and his team orchestrated to ruin her reputation!

In a statement to People on Wednesday, her attorneys, Mike Gottlieb and Esra Hudson, revealed the actress filed subpoenas for the phone records of the It Ends With Us director/actor and his associates to “expose the people, tactics, and methods that have worked to ‘destroy’ and ‘bury’ her reputation and family over the past year.”

A spokesperson for Blake added that subpoenas were sent to three phone carriers — AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile — for Justin’s records, as well as his publicist Jennifer Abel and crisis management expert Melissa Nathan, in the hopes of exposing “the full web of individuals who were involved in the smear campaign against” the Gossip Girl alum. They believe the records could “provide critical and irrefutable evidence not only about who, but also about when, where, and how their retaliation plan came together and operated.”

And they aren’t the only ones who were subpoenaed! Her spokesperson shared that Cloudflare, Inc. and AOL also received one for the internet records to “show the involvement of different persons who might be playing key roles in digital retaliation.” Then there is Jed Wallace. Remember that name? Jed first came up in her complaint in December, as Blake claimed Justin’s PR team hired him from the crisis-management firm Street Relations, Inc. to help with the alleged smear campaign. He and his company then sued Blake for defamation in February.

We guess Jed did not like getting dragged into this legal mess! However, his part in it is not over yet! Blake hopes to find out more about his alleged involvement. The spokesperson said her team looks “forward to investigating more about Jed Wallace’s entire business model and what else he was doing to distract from the very real sexual harassment and retaliation claims made by Ms. Lively.”

Ultimately, her lawyers feel Justin and his legal team haven’t been transparent. They noted they will “now receive all of the ‘receipts,’” including the messages they say were NOT included on the bombshell website Justin dropped earlier this month! Whether they’ll get what they’re looking for, like more evidence of the takedown, we shall see! However, Justin’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, isn’t worried her team will uncover anything! He told People that subpoenas are an “ordinary part of the litigation process,” but what Blake’s attorneys are asking for is “extraordinary.” He added:

“They are asking for every single call, text, data log, and even real-time location information for the past 2.5 years, regardless of the sender, recipient, or subject matter. This massive fishing expedition demonstrates that they are desperately seeking any factual basis for their provably false claims. They will find none.”

Blake’s lawyers clearly disagree, though…

We also have to add that Blake’s team initially said they would have an amended complaint submitted by Valentine’s Day — but were in court this week begging for an extension. They were granted way less than requested and have four more days, likely to comb through the subpoena finding if any.

What are your reactions to her latest move in the legal battle, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments!
