Blake Lively’s legal complaint against Justin Baldoni has been a long time coming.
As the storm of litigation spiraling out of It Ends with Us continues to shower the internet, we’re hearing Blake did NOT suddenly and hastily decide to move forward… She had apparently been working on her case for “months.” And it’s been rough on her! On Monday, an insider told People:
“Blake, along with her team, have been working on this for months. It’s truly been so ugly for her. And insanely stressful. She’s never dealt with anything like this before.”
Ugh, we can only imagine just how truly “ugly” things really have gotten. We mean, some of the things she cited in her suit about Justin’s alleged sexual harassment are just mind blowing…

Not to mention how he then tried to paint Blake as the bad guy, according to her docs… And in a lot of ways he was successful! At least for a while there. On that note, the insider added:
“Clearly the smear campaign is still working even after all the details were revealed. The amount of people, and mostly women, that are leaving nasty comments about Blake on social-media mentions is truly appalling.”
That’s so disheartening. Poor Blake! But luckily for her, it sounds like she has an amazing support system:
“Blake’s whole family and her close friends are all supportive.”
We previously covered both the Gossip Girl’s sister Robyn AND brother-in-law Bart Johnson fiercely spoke out on her behalf in the way of her legal complaint. In addition to them, we know her hubby Ryan Reynolds backed her from day one, and even IEWU author Colleen Hoover is on her side. We’re sure they’re all helping her get through this “ugly” mess!
