Do you believe in miracles?? Well, you’re about to!
Cecil Williams, a 61-year-old blind man had his life saved by his seeing-eye dog on Tuesday morning after he fell onto a New York City subway track!
As the train approached the station, Williams’ black lab Orlando jumped down onto the tracks after him! Eye witnesses say what happened next was unlike anything they’d ever seen from a dog!
Nearby subway rider Matthew Martin explained:

“He went down, and the dog jumped down. [Orlando] wasn├óΓé¼Γäót pulled. He was kissing him, trying to get him to move.├óΓé¼┬¥

OMG! How incredible is that?!
Cecil recovered consciousness just in time to hear a nearby construction worker telling him to move toward the trough in the middle of the tracks. Both he and Orlando laid flat as an Uptown A train roared into the 145th St. Station!
Luckily, people on the platform were able to warn the train operator to slam on the brakes but not before a car and a half rolled over Cecil and Orlando!
Neither were seriously injured and authorities were able to rescue them both from underneath the train soon after!
Wow. Just wow!
Orlando is about to turn 11 however, which means he’ll need to retire soon as a service dog! And since Williams’ insurance will not cover the cost of a non-guide dog, it looked like this brave pup was going to have to find a new home!
Cecil explained how hard it would be to say goodbye to his good friend, saying:

“He gets me around and saves my life on a daily basis. If I had the money, I would definitely keep him.”

Internet to the rescue!!!
After that side of this story got out, an Indiegogo campaign was started to raise enough money for Cecil and Orlando to stay together! And in less than 24 hours, nearly $50,000 has been given on the crowdsource site!
Additional funds have been raised for Cecil on other sites as well! Which means his courageous pooch will be with Mr. Williams for many more adventures to come!
Cecil shared his gratitude to have his dog by his side, saying:

“I├óΓé¼Γäóm feeling amazed. I feel that God, the powers that be, have something in store from me. They didn├óΓé¼Γäót take me away this time. I├óΓé¼Γäóm here for a reason.├óΓé¼┬¥

Tissues please…
