The Boston Marathon is going strong! And so are the winners!
Over 30,000 brave men and women took to the streets of Beantown to compete in one of the most prestigious runs of the year.

The male winner was Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia, who ended the race with an impressive time of 2 hours, 9 minutes, and 17 seconds!
The top two female runners were Ethiopia’s Mare Dibaba and Kenya’s Caroline Rotich, who ended in the marathon equivalent of a photo finish!
In the end it was Rotich who pulled ahead in the last stretch for a time of 2:24:55 — just four seconds ahead of Dibaba’s!
But runners weren’t the only ones competing in Monday’s race!
In the wheelchair category, “Swiss Silver Bullet” Marcel Hug took the mens’ race with a time of just 1:29:15, and Tatyana McFadden got a three-peat in the womens’ with just 1:52:54. So fast!
There aren’t as many celebs in the Boston Marathon because you have to qualify with a pretty good time beforehand.

But strong runners among the stars included Orange Is The New Black star Uzo Aduba…
