Boy Meets World Alum Maitland Ward Says She’s Treated ‘With More Respect’ In Hollywood Now That She’s An Adult Film Star!

Maitland Ward took a major career risk pursuing porn, but she says it’s paying off big time!

The 48-year-old started out with humble beginnings as Rachel McGuire in season 6 of Boy Meets World, but has since taken her career in a MUCH different direction. One we’re not too sure Disney approves of! LOLz! In 2019, she made the decision to launch a career in adult film, and has stuck with it since. You wouldn’t necessarily be out of touch to assume that would tamper some of her opportunities in Hollywood, but she claims quite the opposite is true!

During an interview with Fox News Digital on Saturday, the adult content creator revealed she’s treated with “more respect” now as a porn star than ever before:

“I really think people treat me with more respect now, honestly, especially even in Hollywood right now. I’m pitching my memoir into a TV format and talking with people. They’re so respectful, and they’re so positive about my story, especially younger people and different people that I speak to in Hollywood and stuff.”

That’s nice to hear! She shouldn’t be treated as inferior, but we all know how the world unfortunately looks on women in the sex worker industry.

She added:

“They’re just much more receptive to the story. And I really feel like I have a lot of positivity around it. I’m able to create my own brand, my own content, the way I want to create it.”

Wow, good for her! Especially since it doesn’t seem like she’s be too into any potential Boy Meets World opportunities in the wake of her explosive interview with Danielle Fishel! Ha!

On her decision to pursue pornography, she told the outlet:

“I didn’t get anybody coming out hating me for it or anything. I really got a lot of positivity overall, which shocked everyone I knew. Everybody thought people were just going to rip me apart, and I was going to be judged and raked across the coals, but I got so much positivity and I think it’s because I was so positive about it, and I was so happy about it.”

If she’s happy and she’s not hurting anyone, then why shouldn’t others be happy for her??
