Luckily, Angie got candid with Australia’s TV Week magazine and revealed that she and Brad exchange handwritten love letters in their time apart…AWWWWWWWW!
The 39-year-old actress and human rights activist explained that while she was directing Unbroken in Australia, her hunky partner was eons away in London filming Fury…
So they needed to find a way to connect!
She said:
“He was supportive from a distance, and it was quite romantic in a way. We decided to be of that time, when we could imagine he was in the European theater and I was in the Pacific theater, and we wrote handwritten letters to each other that were very connecting for us, thinking of the people that were separated for months, if not years, at a time back then.”
That is so touching and sweet!!
The duo’s next project happens to be a joint venture — so they won’t have to worry about distance keeping them apart!
They’ll be sharing the screen in the emotional drama By the Sea — and we couldn’t be more thrilled for them!
