If Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s divorce isn’t already messy enough between rumors of cheating, substance abuse, and the custody battle, it’s about to get a WHOLE lot worse now that the LAPD is reportedly investigating Pitt for child abuse!

Sources dished to TMZ that the 52-year-old actor is currently under investigation by the LAPD and the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services after allegedly getting verbally abusive and a bit physical with his kids.
Insiders dished that the Hollywood hottie was supposedly wasted during a flight on a private jet last Wednesday and got a little out of control as he started screaming and being physical with his little ones.
Onlookers apparently said that even after the plane landed around 8 p.m., Brad didn’t stop ranting and allegedly tried leaving in one of the fuel trucks. WHAT?!
The source told TMZ that it was either someone on the plane or tarmac that anonymously tipped off the police and the DCFS.
It’s also reported that the Inglourious Basterds actor and his estranged wife have already been interviewed by the DCFS, and the department plans on interviewing the kids as well. However, it’s not known which of the celeb couple’s kids — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, or twins Knox and Vivienne — were aboard the flight.

As is standard in these types of reported child abuse cases, the LAPD is in charge of overseeing it, though there are no more specifics at this time regarding the extent of the alleged abuse.
Interestingly enough, one source dished that it was the reported incident at the airport that caused Angelina to split from her famous hubby and ultimately file for divorce a few days later. Another insider close to BP has reached out to reveal that the star is taking the case VERY seriously saying:
“He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children. It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light. “
Woof. We can’t even imagine going through the VERY public breakup these A-listers are currently experiencing, but at the end of the day, we hope these allegations are false and all of the kids are okay!
