Can Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Reach A Custody Agreement Before Their Court Date?

Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie Custody battle

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are slowly but surely working toward settling on a custody agreement for their six kids… depending on who you ask!
According to legal docs, the former couple asked to extend the current temporary judge on their case until June 30, 2019 as they gear up for trial proceedings on December 4.
Sources tell People that the listed court date is seen as a target date for Brad and Angie to reach an agreement on custody. Apparently, both sides are working toward an out-of-court settlement to arrange custody of their children without going to trial.

Contrary to most reports, the People insider claimed the Maleficent 2 star “isn’t seeking full custody” of her kiddos, telling the outlet:

“Both parties continue to work together toward a settlement.”

Are they though? Because it sounds like a trial is inevitable, according to separate sources who painted a much more contentious situation to The Blast.
Those insiders say that Brad thinks Angie is purposely trying to drag him through the mud in the upcoming trial, and is worried about the damaging effects it will have on Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. The Blast reports that while the MoneyBall star wants a 50/50 custody agreement, Angie wants sole custody of the kids and isn’t budging.

The sources are even anticipating the Oscar winner to drag out that airplane incident from 2016, where she accused Brad of child abuse, to support her custody wishes. Brad’s legal team isn’t too worried about that, though, seeing that the actor was never criminally charged with anything.
Sounds like there’s still a long and bitter road ahead. We just hope at least one of their kids is still under the age of 18 by the time they reach an agreement!
