Brad Pitt celebrated the big 55 with his kids by his side, and as you might imagine, Angelina Jolie wasn’t in the picture for the family celebrations.
An insider shared with E! Online that in the middle of the custody war raging between the former super couple, the actress “spent the day flying her small plane around Los Angeles with a flight instructor,” while her kids were with their dad.

The actor got to spend quality time with his six kids at home, shared the source:
“The kids arrived at Brad’s house on Monday afternoon for a sleepover. Some of them were picked up at 12:30 p.m. on Brad’s birthday—Tuesday—and taken back to Angelina’s.”
But is the rift between Brangelina taking a toll on the kids? It seems like it:
“Some of them stayed for more time with their dad.”
Obviously, the time with his kids on his big day meant a lot to him:
“It was a huge deal for Brad and something he has wanted for a long time. It was the first time they had spent the night and meant the world to him. It was a great birthday present and he’s looking forward to spending holiday time with them in the coming days.”
