Another one of Hollywood’s longtime, iconic couples is splitting up. The Superman Returns star and the Dexter alum have decided to divorce after 17 long years together. The 46-year-old officially filed for divorce from her husband on Wednesday in Los Angeles, as confirmed by legal docs obtained by People.

There weren’t any explicit details documented about their split, nor was a date of separation noted, but the reason for their breakup was listed as “irreconcilable differences.” Classic! The DC’s Legends of Tomorrow co-stars share a 12-year-old son, Leo, who the mom requested joint legal and physical custody of. She also is requesting spousal support from the 45-year-old actor.
It’s unclear what could’ve caused these two to go their separate ways after nearly two decades, but they were always private with their relationship. The last time either of them posted about each other was back in 2023 on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, respectively. Do you think they’ve been struggling ever since then??
