After almost 17 years, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren‘s marriage has reportedly come to an end. Oof.
According to TMZ on Wednesday, the couple broke up recently — it’s unclear exactly when — and they are taking steps toward a divorce. They share kids Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7. They met in 2004 on the set of Fantastic Four before eventually getting engaged in 2007 and married the next year.

It is not known at this time what led to their breakup, but there have been some signs of trouble for a bit. They were last spotted publicly together back in November, and since then, they’ve both been seen without their wedding rings. For instance, Jessica was seen at a pre-Golden Globes party on Saturday at Chateau Marmont without her husband and without her bling. She was also seen last month in Rome without the jewelry. Meanwhile, the film producer was also spotted in LA last week with a ringless finger.
That said, Jessica has been posting all about her family on Instagram even up until earlier this month! The whole group was seemingly together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They also spent time at Universal Studios for their son’s birthday last week. Notably, Cash was not wearing his rings in the photos. See (below):
It’s hard to tell how long things have been over, but the missing rings are a good clue. That said, the fact they’re reportedly moving toward a divorce without trying to do more reconciliation says a lot! We wonder what happened?!
The exes have yet to comment on the breakup and they have not formally filed divorce docs yet. When the time comes that they do file, we hope they’ve got an ironclad prenup or the actress could be in a pickle! She founded her million-dollar business The Honest Company amid the marriage, so she could be in for a nasty fight if Cash wants a piece of that. Let’s hope the fact they’re seemingly still hanging out together means this will be amicable…
