Remember when Brandy and Whitney Houston starred in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella back in 1997??
It was the number one program of the week with more than 60 millions viewers!
And that was also a monumental time for Brandy. She and Whitney really bonded on set and their friendship continued to grow ever since.
But as everyone knows, Whitney passed away last week. As everyone may NOT know or remember… she died on Brandy’s birthday.
Needless to say, it wasn’t the happiest 33rd birthday…
But Brandy was able to release a statement today in which she said:
My heart is destroyed. I lost my idol and dear friend. My prayers go out to Whitney’s family and her millions of fans around the world. Whitney — the greatest voice of all time — you are my angel and I will always and forever love you.
Awwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUPER SAD!!!!!!!!!!
