Brian Austin Green knows you’re interested in more details about his split from Megan Fox, as he continues to share his side from their separation.
During Monday’s episode of his podcast …with Brian Austin Green, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum opened up more, revealing how shaken up he was by news that his wife of nearly 10 years wanted to take time apart.

Speaking about the Jennifer’s Body star, he recalled their conversation:
“She said, ‘You know, I realized while I was out of the country working alone that I feel more like myself, and I liked myself better during that experience, and I think that may be something worth trying for me.'”
Obviously, that news was difficult for Green to process, even though he and Megan had previously gone through ups and downs. For those who may not know, the 34-year-old even filed for divorce in 2015, but they later reconciled as the actress revealed she was pregnant with their third child.
While seemingly hurt over the way their relationship was going, BAG confirmed he had no animosity for the mother of his children:
“And, I was shocked and I was upset about it, but I can’t be upset at her, and I wasn’t upset at her because that’s, she didn’t ask to feel that way, it wasn’t a choice she made, that’s the way she honestly felt.”
As we previously reported, he confirmed the split in a podcast episode last week, surprising us with his ability to keep cool and speak very maturely of the situation. Others going through a split should take notes!! Revealing the two had “really been trying to sort of be apart” since late 2019, he shared at the time:
“I will always love her and I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family what we have built is really cool and really special.”
Showing his soft side, the BH90210 star got choked up while speaking about Fox:
“It sucks when life changes and something that you’re used to, that you’ve been doing for 15 years, you try and not get rid of but you change. There’s the unknown aspect… there’s that pit in my stomach… I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds… she’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that.”
Wow. It’s very refreshing to hear him speak so candidly about the situation and his feelings surrounding it, especially with the Machine Gun Kelly rumors continuing to swirl. We can only hope they are able to maintain their civil attitude towards each other when things head to court, especially for the sake of their boys: 7-year-old Noah Shannon, 6-year-old Bodhi Ransom, and 3-year-old Journey River.
