Last we heard about dramz between these two, Meghan McCain had slammed Bristol Palin for not voting in November’s midterm elections.
Now, in Bristol Palin’s memoir Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, she writes about her “initial impressions” of Meghan in a less-than-flattering light:
“[Meghan] ignored us during the entire visit. [I] had a sneaking suspicion I might need to watch my back. Every time we saw Meghan, she seemed to be constantly checking us out, comparing my family to hers and complaining.”
And how has Meghan reacted to this? By tweeting a 2008 YouTube video in which her arm is around Bristol and she’s speaking about thrilled she was that John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate.
Trying to make the peace? Killing Bristol with kindness? Whatever the motivation, there is clearly some SERIOUS tension between these two. Hopefully they can work it all out one of these days!
