Birmingham? Or Blackpool?
That was the conundrum Britney Spears found herself faced with on Saturday night during a concert in England, when Spears went to say hi to the crowd without knowing for sure which city she was performing in! Not good!

In video from the show itself, you can hear the crowd raining down boos after Brit accidentally says “how you feeling, Birmingham?” before quickly changing her statement and adding “I mean, Blackpool.”

It’s ironic, considering the performance here was literally right next to the Blackpool tower… guess you can’t win ’em all!
This isn’t the first time Brit has messed up a town while performing in the U.K., either; during her Brighton performance which kicked off the tour at Brighton Pride, she was caught asking a backup dancer which city they were in then, too. She’s forgotten plenty of other stuff on stage, too. Busted!!!
It happens! Especially when you tour worldwide all the time! Barcelona, Boston, Boise, Bombay… tough to tell when it’s all coming from the stage!
