An infamous Hollywood estate has hit the market AGAIN.
The mansion on Sunset Plaza where Brittany Murphy tragically died and Britney Spears had some otherworldly, dark experiences is once again on the hunt for a new owner. Yup, the Hollywood Hills estate has officially been listed for sale again — and we can’t help but wonder if more spooky happenings ran off the current owner!

The home has been shrouded in some super creepy tales since the early 00s. Back in 2003, Britney ended up suddenly selling the home after having a really bad experience there. In February 2021, her former makeup artist Julianne Kaye explained the singer once called her in a panic after experiencing what she described as “some spirit portal” opening up in the home:
“She had that place up on Sunset Plaza — and I’m just gonna say this is really weird. She had the place on Sunset Plaza. She calls me… I had my friend do reiki healing on her, he had come up, I guess she’d had a crazy partying weekend and needed to relax. He left, she swears to God that he opened some spirit portal or something, and these bad spirits had come in. And it was like a male and a female, and they were trying to, like, push her down the stairs, or something crazy.”
After this, the Toxic hitmaker refused to go back to the home:
“It was so bad that she left, she went to the Casa Del Mar hotel to stay there and never went back to the house. She goes, ‘I know you’re gonna think I’m crazy, I’m not crazy, I know what I saw, I know what I felt,’ blah blah blah. And I was like, no, I believe in that s**t, too, so it didn’t really weird me out that much. But she was very persistent about it and she put her house on the market.”
Terrifying… And now it’s back on the market again? We don’t know that we’d be in the market for this one though.
Britney ended up selling it to Brittany Murphy for $3.85 million. Just six years later, the 8 Mile actress would tragically die in the home after collapsing — followed by her husband Simon Monjack just a few months later. Their deaths have never been fully explained to her family’s satisfaction either!
Yeah, this house has some seriously dark history… We don’t know that we’d risk millions to maybe get haunted or worse!
Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles‘ David Parnes officially listed the estate for sale with an asking price of around $18 MILLION bucks. The listing assures the potential buyers the home has been completely gutted and “reborn” having “undergone a complete metamorphosis” since the Clueless actress’ passing. The “newly redesigned” home had its whole front “recently reimagined” while all the exterior and interior features have been redone.
Um… did they also call in an exorcist? The Ghostbusters? What the heck are we talking about “reborn” here??
