Our hearts are with YouTube star Brittani Boren Leach and her husband Jeff Leach right now, as their three-month-old son Crew has tragically passed away.
The vlogger made the devastating announcement on her Instagram this week, sharing that she found the baby not breathing after she put him down for a nap on Christmas Day.
She wrote:
“When I went to check on him, he was not breathing. We are living a nightmare, and I’m dying inside. Please pray for my baby. This can’t be real.”
Brittani soon updated her followers with photos from the hospital room, asking them to help her pray for a miracle.

But over the weekend, the social media star revealed she and her husband had to make decisions “no parent should ever have to make,” writing:
“Crew’s tiny earthly body is still with us, although I know he’s already dancing and playing in Heaven. We have some hard decisions to make over the next 12 hours, that no parent should ever have to make. We need prayer now, more than before, specifically prayers for peace and clarity on the decisions that have to be made, and for our hearts, the pain is unbearable.”
On Sunday night, Brittani revealed that doctors were set to take Crew’s organs for donations.
Then, a day later, she wrote that her baby “went to be with Jesus today,” leaving the family to say “the hardest goodbye of our lives.” The heartbroken mother went on to say that Crew was now “dancing and playing in Heaven” with other family members, letting her followers know she’s “thankful for all the love and support that we have been shown.”
