Brooklyn Beckham‘s Valentine’s Day post to his wife Nicola Peltz was supposed to be super romantic, but fans are still calling it out for seemingly being too focused on his feud with his parents!
On Instagram Sunday, the eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham posted a hot black and white photo of himself and his lady sharing a kiss, writing in the caption:
“Happy Valentine’s Day baby x I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to call you my valentines every year x I love you more than you know and I will forever protect and love you x”

Commenters weighed in:
“Protect her from what? Your parents trying to love you?”
“Am I the only one who thinks this is weird???”
“This is weird to post when you say you don’t want attention”
“Why not just tell her in person. This post seems more like it’s trying to prove a point then about love”
“Only a day late, daddy must’ve taken his Rolex back!”
“Protect her from what?! Monsters? Lol”
“It’s like two teenagers showing mummy and daddy how rebellious they are”
Some fans came to their defense, though, writing:
“How sad people misunderstand that they can say anything they want to and don’t realize that it’s reflecting to their life. For those who keep throw negative comment to him. You think you can teach him a life?? Live your life.”
“it’s the misogynistic comments for me! let them live!”
“They are young they are in love leave them alone ! Young love is indestructible don’t you all remember yours”
“I love how Brooklyn is posting whatever he wants, knowing all the trolls will come out and give him abuse, and he couldn’t care less”
“Live him alone he is living his peaceful life with hes beautiful wife”
