Brooklyn Decker is straight from the farm!
The actress and former model admits that a friend of her mom’s horse struck a chord with her family.
She recalls how she got her name:
My mom’s best friend had a horse named Brooke, so my dad suggested ‘Brooklyn’ as a more formal version, and it just stuck and now I live in Brooklyn part-time, so go figure.
But that still doesn’t explain how she got her last name….LOLz!
Brooklyn is continuing her leap into acting with Battleship and What to Expect When You are Expecting coming to movie screen this month.
We think she’s a bit more famous than her horse namesake!
