When a child is bullied, no one wins.
But at least this child didn’t lose.
A video was captured of a female bully picking on a male child for an unknown reason. However, it didn’t stay that way for long.
The location and the students involved in this incident are currently unknown, as the video keeps being uploaded and pulled down from the internet, but it was an Oklahoma City news station that brought it to our attention.
One of the worst parts of the video is when you hear a voice that is almost certainly an adult say:
“I can├óΓé¼Γäót stop a thing. There├óΓé¼Γäós nothing I can do. That├óΓé¼Γäós why I tell ya├óΓé¼Γäóll don├óΓé¼Γäót fight. Nothing to do but call the police├óΓé¼┬ªcallin’ 911 now.”
Why exactly couldn’t you stop this? You’re an adult. You’re supposed to stop this. That’s your job!
Fortunately the bullied child is able to turn the tables on the female bully, and even asks if she is OK afterwards. That’s a pretty significant amount of empathy from a kid who was just being punched mercilessly.
We would never condone violence against anyone, but at least what happened here was brought to a stop before things went way too far. We’re so glad that boy’s conscience took over.
