Larsa Pippen‘s personal life made things very difficult for her son growing up!
During the debut season of Netflix‘s Calabasas Confidential, which premiered on Friday, Preston Pippen opened up about his mom. He shared that The Real Housewives of Miami star is in “a weird place” amid “a new relationship [as] per usual” with a mystery guy, and he’s thrilled to be as far away from that as possible:
“I’m glad I’m not dealing with it all so [up] close. It kind of sucks when your parents are divorced. That’s one thing and then once they start dating, it’s another thing. If they get remarried, then it’s a bigger thing.”

In a confessional, Preston explained Larsa’s divorce from his dad, Scottie Pippen, was really hard for him, especially as his mother stepped into the spotlight:
“There’s no age where I feel like your parents get divorced and [it is] comfortable. At that time, my mom was getting a lot of exposure and stuff.”
Although the 24-year-old reality star didn’t name names, he mentioned Larsa became “friends with a very famous family” back then, and we all know who he is talking about! It’s Kim Kardashian and her family! The friendship has since fizzled out. But years ago, Larsa and Kim were thick as thieves, which caused a lot of problems for Preston with other kids as a teenager! He recalled:
“It was just all over the place. You would think — at that age — when you’re going to school that it is safe and you’re dodging the drama at home. People I thought were my friends would make jokes — and there’s already so much noise in the house.”
That is heartbreaking to hear! Kids can be so cruel sometimes! Getting emotional, Preston noted his parents “don’t communicate” with each other now — and it’s likely due to Larsa’s betrayal! He claimed:
“My parents got divorced when I was 15 and it was really tough because there was an affair.”
Preston is referencing the rumored affair the Bravolebrity had with Future. Larsa has insisted she didn’t start dating the rapper until after her marriage to Scottie was over, but her son is now saying otherwise! Yikes! And amid the news of the alleged cheating scandal, other teens would bully him over it:
“Kids at school — like my friends — would play music by a rapper that my mom was talking to at the time and it was just s****y. I am removed from it now so it’s easy to kind of talk about. Being a kid and dealing with that was difficult and now my mom’s in Miami, and my dad’s in Calabasas. It’s hard to balance that relationship with her and not upset the rest of my family.”
They weren’t real friends if they were picking on him, and that’s just gotta make it hurt worse. Hopefully Preston doesn’t have those folks in his life anymore!
