Bunnie Xo‘s ex-husband is spilling tea about their marriage!
Before the podcast host married (and later split from) Jelly Roll, she was with a man named Francisco “Frankie” Lombardo. He told Dailymail.com in an interview on Tuesday that they first met over MySpace in 2009. He confided in Bunnie about issues he was having with his then-girlfriend. Meanwhile, she had been married to Christopher Gilbert. And when she asked Frankie to meet up over a drink, he agreed but never expected her husband to be there too. Despite that, he claimed she whispered to him:
“I want to make out with you.”

About a week later, Bunnie and Frankie moved in together. He insisted there was no cheating on Bunnie’s part, and that she had been separated from Christopher when they began living together. Telling someone else who is not your partner that you want to make out with them seems like cheating, even if it didn’t actually happen! Just saying! Frankie continued:
“It was really f**king weird, man. He’s just a normal dude, kind of a weird dude. And they have a little bit of a checkered past, I guess, but I was glad to serve the guy papers. I’ll never forget that.”
When the pair “came into a little money,” they decided to get hitched in Hawaii in February 2010:
“It was good. I really loved her and I think that we were definitely extremely close. We’re f**king best friends… She was a good wife.”
However, the honeymoon phase eventually ended. Frankie shared that her “lifestyle,” meaning her involvement with sugar daddies, hurt their relationship because he got very jealous:
“When I met her, she said to me right out of the gate, ‘I just want to let you know that I have a couple sugar daddies.’ And I was like, ‘What the f**k does that mean?’ I didn’t want to know, but she had a couple sugar daddies that would send her money. She never saw them. They lived out of state. I was super jealous. Wanted her all to myself. There was definitely some arguing and stuff that took place.”
His parents and siblings moving into their home ruined their marriage for good, though! Frankie’s mom and dad were indicted on RICO conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering in 2007, which led to them losing their house. Hence why they needed to move in with him and Bunnie. Frankie said everything came “crashing down,” and he “hit the lowest point” of his life:
“[It] totally destroyed our relationship, and I think ultimately that had a very big influence on the way things were handled.”
Although Frankie said he “didn’t want” to get divorced, they filed a joint petition in February 2014. She also moved on very quickly again. The breakup pained him because they were trying to have a baby and even sought out fertility treatments beforehand:
“I really wanted a baby with her. She wanted to have a baby. I know she had issues in the past of ectopic pregnancies and things like that. Of course I wanted kids with her. I loved her. I thought that there was a way. I was like, ‘You know what? There has to be a f**king way. We’re going to try everything.’”
Oof…
Since the divorce, the two have remained friends. But Frankie admitted that things weren’t easy for him afterward:
“Bunnie was the only girl that broke my heart. She left me for another man and… [it] f**king destroyed my life in a sense. And she got with some dude [who she dated before Jelly Roll] who beat her up, which was a f**king nightmare.”
Bunnie opened up about the abusive relationship with the man, whom she only identified as “Karma,” in her memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic. Frankie continued:
“There’s a chapter which I have not read on this Karma guy and I chose not to read it because it was a time after me. I remember when she came to my house with her eyes swollen shut and very badly hurt. I don’t want to relive that.”
How sad. It sounds like Bunnie has been through so much in her life so far.
